Take a look at this new wiki from PbWiki.com that gives a nice introduction to the new book (The Unincorporated Man) coming this March from Eytan and Dani Kollin
I posted recently about Dani and Eytan’s upcoming book The Unincorporated Man (from Tor) Multimedia. Below is a bit more of some tidbits from Dani’s resume. I think it’s pretty interesting to see how a business executive type is breaking into science fiction. kind of like all the former attorneys writing fictional legal thrillers. Now we can be entertained by an ad copy guy who has figured out a way to transport us to a new dimension of science fiction imagination. Let’s see if all these awards below can actually produce compelling copy. if you want to preorder from Amazon the Unincorporated Man, just click the link.
Here’s some highlights from Dani’s resume.

honorific: Sci Fi Essential. This is what it means (from the Sci Fi Channel website:) WHAT IS A SCI FI ESSENTIAL BOOK?
Hot off the presses. The Unincorporated Man which has not even hit the stands yet, has been previewed by a select few (not me unfortunately) and this has resulted in a competitive honorific. With 5 more months to go, Dani Kollin and his brother Eytan, have been awarded with the Sci-Fi Essential status for their upcoming science fiction novel.
Here’s what this award means. SCI FI has teamed up with Tor Books, the largest publisher of science fiction and fantasy in the world, to spotlight some of the best new science-fiction novels, from both new and established authors.
Each month SCI FI selects a new book as a SCI FI Essential. That means it deserves to be counted among the finest works of the genre. If you want to pre-order at Amazon, just request a copy of The Unincorporated Man by visiting their site.
Available in all major bookstores.
Dani Kollin’s first sci-fi book, The Unincorporated Man, is now due to hit the stores in March 2009. I first mentioned the arrival of this book back on September 15th in this blog. Now with the latest update, it means that science fiction fans who have been waiting for next reincarnation of Isaac Asimov have less than 5 months to go. Set to be a trilogy, the book is not yet available online except through Amazon by placing a pre-order for The Unincorporated Man. Let’s hope that this accomplished author with his brother writing partner (Eytan Kollin) can translate their success at children’s books into an adult science fiction novel worthy of joining the pantheon of greats such as Piers Anthony. Perhaps the Robot Adept will come back to life in a new grenre in the pages of Dani’s upcoming book (written by the way with his brother Eytan).
In case you want to see books written by Dani, take a look at “What’s in a Name?” (Childrens’ book) put out by Scholastic Inc. and “My very first Dreidal,” another childrens’ book put out by Piggy Toes press.I’ll update this blog when I receive more information.
The Unincorporated Man by Dani Kollin and Eytan Kollin is coming out in March. And if I can be so bold as to make a claim now almost 6 months in advance, their debut novel is going to rock the bookshelves. With Dani’s background in advertising and his unique ability to conjure up a compelling plot and storyline and Eytan’s passion for everything sci-fi, you can bet that this soon to be appreciated dynamic duo is doomed to sacrifice their current homeostasis of anonymity for the teasing allure of fame and fortune and all that comes with it.
In the language of the now timeless Batman tv show from the sixties one series of questions remains to be asked as we prepare ourselves for the launch of a groundbreaking science fiction novel: Will this team of titans, will this brotherhood of tribal tacticians, will this unctuous umbrage to unincorporation be the all that you can be we’ve come to expect from science fiction debut novels. Time will tell as the clock counts down.
